Seeing the fall of UST/Luna, I was wondering if Djed, the algorithmic stablecoin of Cardano, has mechanisms to prevent such a collapse.
I got partial answers by watching that comparison video. It seems that Djed will be 400%-800% over collateralized, while UST was not overcollateralized at all.
Also, Djed’s pegging algorithm will be decentralized, and done via a “buffer” coin, Shen. For UST, it was done manually by centralized actors.
Any thoughts about Djed ? Am I the only one that is getting excited ?
